These terms govern the use of horion.ca. By visiting the site, you agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
The site is operated by ⟦exact legal name⟧, whose head office is located at ⟦address⟧. For any question about these terms, write to ⟦email⟧.
You undertake to use the site for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm its operation or other visitors. In particular, you may not attempt to access non-public parts of the site, extract its content in bulk by automated means, or transmit unlawful content or files through it.
The content of this site is provided for information purposes. It describes our services, our approach and our team, but it does not constitute a real estate appraisal or professional advice and cannot replace one.
An appraisal can only result from a mandate entrusted to Horion and carried out by a member of the Ordre des évaluateurs agréés du Québec, based on an examination of the property concerned. No purchase, sale, financing or tax decision should be made on the sole basis of the information published here.
The quote request form allows you to send us a request. A request is not a contract. It creates no obligation on our part until we have sent you a service offer and you have accepted it in writing.
We reserve the right to decline a request, in particular where the mandate falls outside our field of competence, where it presents a conflict of interest, or where the information provided is incomplete or inaccurate.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you send us. When you provide us with another person's contact details — a borrower, the person to contact for the inspection — you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
All content on the site — text, photographs, illustrations, logo, trademarks, structure and code — belongs to Horion or its partners and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may consult the site and print pages for your personal use. Any other use — reproduction, distribution, adaptation, commercial exploitation — requires our prior written authorisation.
Appraisal reports produced under a mandate are governed by ⟦to specify: the terms of the mandate, the rules of the OEAQ⟧, not by these terms.
The site may link to sites operated by third parties. These links are provided for convenience. We exercise no control over those sites and accept no responsibility for their content or their personal information practices.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the site accessible and up to date, without guaranteeing that it will be free of errors or interruptions. We may modify, suspend or withdraw all or part of it at any time and without notice.
To the extent permitted by law, Horion cannot be held liable for damages arising from the use of the site or the inability to use it, nor for decisions taken on the basis of its content.
⟦to be validated with legal counsel: the scope of this limitation, in particular against the public order rules of the Civil Code of Québec and the Consumer Protection Act⟧
The processing of personal information collected through the site is described in our privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the province of Quebec. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or application falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of ⟦district⟧, province of Quebec.
We may change these terms at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page, and the date of its last update appears at the top. It is your responsibility to consult it periodically.
